Dan Saffer, the design director for Adaptive Path and author of the great book “Designing for Interaction” has anounced that he is going to write a new book: Designing Gestural Interfaces, for O’Reilly. The book is scheduled for publication in Fall 2008.
Dan is one of the pioneers of talking about gestural interfaces, and he launched (on a inspiring post) a wiki about them some months ago.
In this new book Dan will examinate the patterns related to interactive gestures of products such as Nintendo’s Wii and Apple’s iPhone.
